Graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and a distinguished military graduate commission in ROTC in 1990

Received a doctoral degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 2002

Completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma in 2003

Dr. Carbone practiced general dentistry for four years prior to entering specialty training in endodontics at Medical College of Georgia, Augusta and the U.S. Army Endodontic Residency Program, Ft. Gordon, Georgia receiving a certificate in endodontics in 2008.

He served in the Army Air Defense Artillery Corps, Medical Service Corps, and Dental Corps for over twenty-six years. After fourteen stateside and overseas assignments/deployments, he retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2014.

Dr. Carbone has been married to his high school sweetheart Sherrey since 1987, lives in Boise and has two children.  He enjoys competitive shooting, fishing, and spending time with  friends.
